Wednesday

Quiet day in Timaru, we went for a walk along the coast, there is a nice walking track.  We were gone for two hours and one of the things we passed was a huge abattoir with lots of trucks bringing bambies and sheep for their last living truck rides.  After lunch we felt that a two hour walk merited a two hour snooze.  Sky TV here has a classic movie channel, good thing we can't get it at home, Beth's addicted.  Off to Christchurch in the am for our last stop before we start the long trek home.  Not too keen to see snow....L
