The Ship
One of our favorite haunts is the Wheel House Bar, it has a very nautical theme, lots of really nice wood and brass lights, and lots pictures of old steam ships. However there aren't any of the Titanic. This ship is huge. The passageway or stateroom is on runs most the length of the ship. It is 330 paces and takes three minutes at a risk walk. You can do the loop around the ship on deck seven, the promenade deck. 2.5 loops is one mile. It's a busy place I did around seven loops this am, lost count as I was walking and talking with some gal from San Francisco. We are sailing down the west coast of Tasmania, the sea is flatter than the proverbial plate. Just met the human resources director, she says she has 1060 staff on board, she says it's a lot like dealing with school kids. There's 3,000 passengers, even at that there's lots of free uncluttered space.
