We docked this am at about 7:30 on the harbour where the Sydney Hobart race finishes. Clear sunny day high 28. Beautiful harbour, there is a wooden boat festival this weekend. Some of the boats are beautiful and surprisingly enough quite a few are less than twenty five years old. At the same there was an aerobatic demonstration by a team of six aircraft. They were very good, Beth was in heaven.
The harbour front here is very nice with a large park and plaza, there is also a Saturday market where they fleece the tourists.
When we left the ship they were announcing a crew safety drill for 9:45 for about an hour. They weren't fooling around, they even launched the port side lifeboats and motored them around and recovered them. Pretty impressive
