Big Ship Small World

Big ship, small world

To night for dinner Beth and I were seated as the first two at a table for eight.  They always fill one table and then off to the next.  The waiter brought over a group of six.   The usual pleasantries, where are you from, Canada, they were maritimers, once we said Montreal then Hudson it turns out one of the gals is Anne Bowsers friend Karen Latimers sister Jodi, small world.  Anyways great dinner with the group, it sounds like we missed something special at Ayers Rock, I guess we'll have to come back.

Beautiful evening again.  Only doing 14 knots .  Some seas.  We were swimming in the big pool mid ships watching a concert of the Il Divo (not sure how to spell it).  The pool was sloshing back and forth with the swells, so we had our own wave pool listening to great music.

There is an information show on the telly every morning with all the news, entertainment of the day and evening.  2 guys who are comedians.  They are a riot.

We arrived in Hobart, Tasmania this am to another beautiful sunny day.  It is Sat. Here and the harbour is very busy with pleasure and racing boats.  Larry took a picture of one gorgeous racing boat.  Very sleek.  Don't know what it is.
That's it for now.  Off the ship for the day.

Beth

We leave at supper time for NZ.  It's three nights and two days across the Tazman sea which has a reputation of being rough.  We arrive in NZ at Fjiordland Park and spend the day cruise the inlets and then off to I'm not sure where, so we'll be out of touch for a bit.    L
